Areas of expertise
1
Chronic Illness & Chronic Pain
Living with chronic illness or chronic pain can shape every part of life, often in ways that are not visible to others. It can bring changes in energy, identity, roles, and how you relate to your body and your future.
I support people who are newly adjusting to a diagnosis, as well as those who have been living with ongoing health challenges for some time. This often includes space for grief, uncertainty, frustration, and the experience of life not unfolding as expected.
I also support caregivers who are navigating the emotional and practical realities of caring for someone else, often while carrying a lot themselves.
Together, we can make space for what this experience has been like for you, and what it may mean as you move forward.
2
Trauma Therapy
Some experiences stay with us long after they have happened, shaping how we feel, relate, and move through the world. These experiences may be connected to specific events, or to patterns that developed over time in relationships or earlier life experiences.
I offer therapy to support you in making sense of these experiences in a way that feels steady and manageable. This process is often about creating space to understand what happened, how it has affected you, and what healing might look like at your own pace. I also offer EMDR therapy, which can support the processing of difficult or overwhelming experiences when it feels appropriate for the work.
3
Anxiety, Low Mood & Ongoing Stress
Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, or as though they are carrying more than they can manage alone. Sometimes this shows up as constant worry, emotional fatigue, or a sense of being stuck or disconnected.
Together, we take time to understand what is contributing to these experiences, both in the present and in patterns that may have been present for a long time. The focus is not only on relief, but also on understanding what is happening underneath.
This can support greater steadiness, clarity, and a different relationship with yourself over time.
